Our heritage
For over 21 years, Twig has provided trusted environmental, ecological and landscaping services across Kent and the South East. ATV Contract Services began in 2002 as a highway spraying contractor, rapidly expanding to serve 15 local authorities nationwide by 2006, before diversifying into commercial landscaping, fencing and ecology-led arboriculture services from 2008 onwards.

Twig has been providing environmental, ecological and landscaping services in Kent and the South East for over 21 years. In 2018, our vision for growth and sustainable expansion was realised when we joined the RSK Group, one of the UK’s fastest-growing environmental businesses.
ATV Contract Services began in 2002 as a highway spraying contractor. By 2006, we were operating on behalf of 15 local authorities from Aberdeen to Bournemouth. In 2008, we expanded into commercial landscaping and ecology-led services, specialising in conventional seeding. Our investment in specialised machinery, including tracked post knockers and hydroseeders, has enabled us to deliver a high-quality, efficient service consistently to our clients.
Commitment to sustainability
Sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do. We actively work to reduce our environmental impact by
- using electric vehicles and hand tools wherever possible
- adopting innovative, efficient and sustainability-led working practices
- operating north and south regional teams to reduce travel and our carbon footprint
- We recycle materials where possible (chipping and composting) to avoid the impact of landfill. Where possible, vegetation will remain on-site to enhance habitat for target species while reducing costs.

Health and safety and accreditations
The safety of our operatives, clients and stakeholders is our biggest priority, and we adhere to the highest health and safety standards. We hold accreditation with Constructionline Gold, the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Supporting local and national businesses
Being part of RSK means we can draw upon support from a variety of RSK-affiliated businesses that combined, have a global network. We remedy clients’ challenges through the innovative application of our innovative services, including ground maintenance, ecological contracting and solar farm maintenance.
We have the capability of providing end-to-end services to our clients across the UK, drawing upon a wealth of heavily specialised individuals with unique skillsets.
