Restoring historic fishing pond
We were asked to advise on the correct methodology to revive an ancient pond within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The project had multiple objectives but its primarily aim was to return the pond to a well-stocked and used angling location.
Our advice extended to pond clearance, tree management, hibernacula creation and pathway construction.
The project has now been completed and is being enjoyed by the local anglers as planned.
