We were tasked with the sensitive vegetation clearance of three key fields before work started on the creation of junction 10a on the M20 motorway at Ashford

The required work was completed on behalf of Vinci, as part of a joint venture with Taylor Woodrow, for the Highways Agency. The sensitive vegetation clearance was planned and inspected by Jacobs, assisted by our in-house Natural England licence holders.

The fields were initially cut to 150mm then raked-off by hand. The remaining vegetation was then carefully reduced using strimmers, as part of the habitat manipulation process.
